What do you do when it's super windy and a storm's on it's way?

Go down the beach of course!

 ever so slightly windy, and surprisingly there were quite a few other crazy people down there too! The squirrels were going nuts for nuts and the seagulls were loving 'hanging' in the wind. Good times.
The main reason I wanted to go down there was an attempt to try a get a shot of autumn before the wind blows it all away tomorrow. Of course I forgot one little thing - Bournemouth is very much evergreen...did manage to find a pretty puddle though...

even if I did have to stand in it to get a decent shot...

How neglected has this blog been this year?!
Here's a little update of 4 layouts I made in March - all for sketches from my teamies :)
Last year there was a sketch posted every month. Sadly, due to one reason or another, I wasn't able to make 3 of them, but they're done now! Better late than never ;)
1. Snow - this one was from the 2013 sketch book. Picked one of my sketches and the element challenge from Jo (5 different patterned papers).
2. On Watch - Jo's sketch from last...September I think. Adapted it a bit to fit my 8x8 I.O.W album - love how it turned out!
3. Hello Sunshine - this one was from Rhian from October...maybe...another adapted 8x8 I.O.W album - a daft one documenting our hunt for some sandals for my poor feet during that late heatwave in sept/oct 2011 - I'd only packed converse and boots! (Luckily we found a beach shop as all the stores had there autumn/winter stock in, unsurprisingly!)
4. Hello - this was the final sketch of the year from Patty :) Again, adapted to 8x8. Last page of the album (no, I don't scrap in order - this album is no way near finished!). Pip was so happy to see us home, made a lovely change!
